The CEETNOVA initiative responds to a well-known problem: despite strong research, only a small proportion of Europe's research results and patents are used in practice.

By training Knowledge Valorisation Ambassadors and developing new tools and methods for knowledge transfer, the project aims to help more research results reach society. Focus areas include green transition, technology transfer and collaboration between academia and industry.

The project is coordinated by the University of Stavanger and implemented together with Kaunas University of Technology, Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Trento and Linköping University. All participating universities are members of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU).

CEETNOVA runs for 30 months and also contributes to realising the European Commission's goal of a stronger and more innovative Europe.
