CoARA - for a more sustainable and fair research environment

Research assessment today relies heavily on publication-based measures such as the impact factor of journals and the number of citations. CoARA complements this approach by recognising a broader set of contributions made by researchers.

Open Science involves working to make different parts of the scientific process and its results available. Open science is expected to be important in ensuring that society benefits from the scientific knowledge developed.
