PhD student in Flight Logistics
Do you have experience in programming and an interest in aviation, logistics, and sustainability? We are now seeking a PhD student in Aviation Logistics, offering a unique opportunity to combine advanced modeling and analysis with real-world applications in an international research environment. You will be part of a research project focused on developing more environmentally efficient arrival procedures at an airport.You will contribute to a research project focused on optimizing arrival procedures at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The project aims to enhance the environmental performance of flight operations by developing and assessing more efficient arrival strategies.
Your work will include analyzing and modelling new operational concepts, as well as evaluating their impact on air traffic management. A particular emphasis will be placed on understanding how these changes affect the workload, decision-making, and overall performance of air traffic controllers.
