My research in Health Professions ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ focuses on how occupational therapy students learn about occupational therapy assessment as a tool to be prepared for their future professional roles.
I am part of the Graduate school in Health Professions ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ at Linköping University, which collaborates with Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet. My research investigates how students, clinical supervisors, and university teachers experience and understand occupational therapy assessment as a means to create learning situations and support student learning. Currently, there is a lack of research in this area.
My research interest originates from my past and present experiences in creating optimal learning conditions. As a former occupational therapist within preschool and elementary school student health services, and through my interactions with current students in the occupational therapy program, I am also interested in promoting professional development. Central to this is the enhancement of skills within the occupational therapy profession.
